About me
Native to Sorrento, a small town in Campania overlooking the Gulf of Naples, famous all over the world for its characteristic alleys and its splendid landscapes: being the reason why Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast are some of the most popular destinations for couples who want to crown their dream of love.
When I was only 5 years old, my father, a photographer specializing in events and weddings, gave me my first camera, a Fujifilm Instax 100, with which I started photographing everything around me.
After graduating from high school (studying languages), I started working with my father, Roberto, and attending the ILAS Designers School after which, I worked as a photographic manager, first in Rhodes and then in Kos, thus combining a love of photography with that of travel.
Through photography I like to tell the authenticity and spontaneity of emotions, which is why every story is told through the reportage style. This does not mean that we will only shoot when you are not looking towards the lens, but will only guide you, if necessary, to create a certain result or to enhance a particular light or environment.
The reportage style is especially suitable for couples who do not like to be the center of attention and who want to fully enjoy their special day; this will allow us to remain a discreet and never intrusive presence, because we will let ourselves be guided by the event and the flow of emotions.
The search for a photographer is one of the most delicate aspects in organizing an event because it will be he/she, with his shots, who will give you an indelible memory of your most beautiful day.
What I like about interior and food photography, however, is that nothing is left to chance. Every little thing is studied: the light, the framing, the composition of the photograph.
A good interior photography must have an impact but not alter reality, must enhance the environment through light and convey the atmosphere that you breathe in that place, creating emotions in those who look at them, encouraging them to buy the property or to stay there.
The composition of the set, the light and the layout are taken care of with great care to communicate to the viewer the taste of the dish and the skill of the chef.
Food photography requires creativity and imagination, knowledge in food styling, curiosity and patience, a desire for perfection and above all a love for food!
Wedding proposal
I think that the most beautiful moments need to be documented and remembered. The wedding proposal is certainly one of these. Asking your partner to marry you is the ultimate gesture of love, and you only get one shot at pulling off a deeply romantic proposal she’ll love forever. All you have to do is to invest in the right ring, select a location worthy of the amplitude of the moment and deliver a message from your heart that will make her move and think she’s the luckiest girl in the world.
But that’s not all! No one knows your partner better than you, you’re the only one to know if she’d love a private proposal or a public one. If you have a special place (maybe where you first met or a place where you have had special and happy moments) that could be the right location. Other may think that the best moment to make the proposal is while they’re on vacation, for example in a city they have dreamed of seeing for a lifetime.
I’m so lucky to live in such a beautiful area, I live in Sorrento which is very close to Positano and the Amalfi Coast. This is one of the most popular locations people choose to ask their partner to spend their life together, besides being beautiful it is also very romantic.
Your wedding day
These days, photography is practiced by anyone with a smartphone, but it’s mastered by few. When it comes to those once-in-a-lifetime moments you better make sure the person behind the camera is a pro.
Photography is not just a job for me. I’m a photographer because I love the art of it, and I love the challenge of composing and creating beautiful photographs. The business I run isn’t something I just started on a whim after getting a nice camera and being lucky with getting a few good pictures. I have studied and experimented.
Choosing your wedding photographer is no easy task. Each wedding marks the start of a family and I’m lucky enough to have the privilege of creating timeless images for each of them.
Different photographers not only have different personalities, but also have unique shooting and editing styles. Likewise, no two couples are the same and neither their styles, that’s why I am convinced that is very important to have very clear ideas about the photographic style you prefer and to look through the photographer’s gallery to get an idea of what the photos of your special day will be.
I take the time to listen to my clients, their needs, desires, and concerns, focusing on the details the bride wants to share. My ultimate goal is to give you the smoothest, fun and relaxed wedding day possible through an authentic, documentary style photography. I’ll will make you feel relaxed and help you to enjoy your photo session, no matter how camera shy you are.
Once you’ve looked at my gallery and made sure you love my style, email me and I’ll give you all the necessary information.
The main characteristics of my photographic style are simplicity, spontaneity and naturalness.
